How We Work
From the moment a school or university makes contact through to the final feedback session, here is how a VisionPath workshop engagement unfolds.
The Workshop Process
Every engagement follows a structured process designed to make scheduling straightforward and delivery effective.
Initial Request
A teacher, professor, student representative, or school administrator contacts VisionPath through our website or by phone or email. There is no formal application procedure. A short message outlining the institution, approximate group size, and preferred topic area is sufficient to begin the conversation.
Consultation and Planning
We schedule a brief call or meeting with the institution to understand the audience better. This includes age group, existing financial knowledge level, and any specific concerns the institution wants to address. Based on this, we propose a workshop format, duration, and content focus that fits the group's needs.
Content Preparation
Our facilitators prepare tailored materials for the specific group. While our core modules are established, we adapt examples, scenarios, and discussion points to be relevant to the participants' age and likely financial situation. Secondary school sessions differ meaningfully from university-level content.
Workshop Delivery
Sessions typically run between 60 and 120 minutes. Our facilitators arrive with printed materials, interactive exercises, and visual aids. The format always includes time for open questions. Where the institution permits, we also leave written reference materials for participants to take home.
Feedback and Follow-up
After the session, we distribute a short anonymous feedback form to participants and a separate evaluation form to the coordinating teacher or administrator. We review all responses and use them to improve future sessions. Institutions that want to host recurring workshops can establish an ongoing arrangement with us.
Workshop Formats
Single session (60 min) - Introduction to one topic area, suitable for a single class period
Extended session (120 min) - Deeper exploration of one or two topics with more interactive exercises
Workshop series - Multiple sessions across weeks covering all four topic areas in depth
Event presentation - Shorter presentation format suitable for student fairs, open days, or assemblies
Who Delivers the Workshops
VisionPath workshops are delivered by trained volunteer facilitators. Our facilitator pool includes economics and finance graduates, practising professionals from the financial sector, and educators with experience in working with young audiences.
All facilitators complete an internal training programme before their first independent session. This covers both content accuracy and delivery methodology. We do not allow facilitators to promote any personal financial services or products during sessions.
